We are a small breeder of Chinese Imperials in Utah. I have 3 children, and a wonderful husband (most
of the time, LOL).
Twenty-five years ago I had the
pleasure of getting my first Shih Tzu, Tosha. I didn't
know at the time that she was actually a Chinese
Imperial. Tosha weighed 7 lbs. and lived to be 17
years old.
My daughter loved to dress her
up in doll clothes and play with her for hours and Tosha
didn't mind it at all. That is when I decided that I
would always have a Chinese Imperial Dog.
Soon after Tosha passed over the
rainbow bridge I bought another Chinese Imperial puppy,
only this time the puppy grew to be a 15 lb Shih Tzu. A friend of
mine told me that I should breed for my own tiny puppy
and thats how it all started. I now have a male that
weighs 2.4 5 months old.
They are kid friendly & hypoallergenic too!
